The Ultimate Online Guitar Lessons
Lessons + Bandmates + WiFi Teleport Pedal
But you still need to practice, it is just a lot easier and fun.
As a longtime noodler, last year I decided to learn some music theory to get me past the intermediate plateau. It's been great but I found that when I played with people, I fell back on my old habits or a small bunch of licks. I've been with guitargate for only 2 weeks and through the teleport and guitargate videos, I'm now playing different styles and really concentrating on the rhythm and how to use space, not just fill it up. It's real work for me to play the right and tasty parts, and not just regurgitate the scales and phrases I know well. So I'm getting there and teleport has really opened my understanding. And I really get inspired by the great uploads I get to experience from other users. Looking forward to continuing to improve! Thanks!
More than just a looper pedal (easy to use): a community of people who help each other learn to make and play music solo or with a band through community collaboration. Win/Win!
After working hard all day and listening to good tunes there is Nothing better then coming home, hop on the teleport and create a song or browse the feed to upload/jam with the Guitargate community would definitely recommend this product to anyone trying to learn or play more music this gets you playing!
MUSIC HEALS!
GuitarGate stands out because it doesn’t let you hide behind tabs and muscle memory. This isn’t a “follow along and hope for the best” type of course. Michael Palmisano’s approach forces you to understand what’s happening behind the scenes on the guitar. That makes it more demanding if you’re just casually dabbling, but it becomes a force multiplier if you’re serious about becoming the player you picture yourself being when you shop for courses in the first place.
I often have to watch lessons multiple times. Sometimes more than multiple times. It requires focus and intentional effort. But the difference is that months later, I still remember what I learned. That’s very different from the start-and-stop learning pattern I’ve fallen into with other programs where information fades quickly.
Bottom line: you will be required to put the time and energy in. But if you do, the results stick. The growth compounds. You build skills that don’t disappear.
Bundling GuitarGate with the Teleport pedal is honestly one of the most compelling value-adds I’ve seen. It reduces friction, increases engagement, and keeps you playing instead of bouncing between disconnected platforms. The ecosystem makes practice more immersive and enjoyable, which makes consistency easier.
GuitarGate has also been around for more than a decade and continues to evolve. That longevity matters. I’ve purchased plenty of courses over the years that quietly disappeared. I have no concern about that happening here.
If you want entertainment, this may feel challenging. If you want transformation, this is one of the strongest and value-packed platforms available.
I absolutely love the Teleport, and it has completely changed the way I practice and engage with guitar.
One of the stated goals of this platform is to get and keep the guitar in players’ hands, and it genuinely succeeds at that. Since adding this to my setup, I find myself playing more often and staying engaged longer because the collaboration element makes practice feel dynamic instead of isolated.
What really sets this apart is how it handles latency. Remote playing and virtual collaboration platforms usually fall apart because of timing delays, but the Teleport eliminates that issue in a way that actually works. It makes remote jamming and collaboration feel natural, which is something I haven’t experienced before.
The GuitarGate bundling is also a huge advantage. Having lessons, collaboration, and community all under one roof minimizes context switching and keeps everything streamlined. It feels like a fully integrated ecosystem rather than a collection of separate tools.
Support and vendor engagement have been outstanding (I mean, how often are you talking to the founder/owner/designer of a product who is a celebrity in his own right?!). It’s clear there’s real investment in the product and the community around it, so you know it's going to be around and improve over the long haul!
One important note: I strongly recommend using a OneSpot power adapter. This unit draws more power than a standard pedal because it’s doing much more under the hood. It’s closer to a small computer than a simple stompbox, so proper power makes a difference.
Overall, this feels like a glimpse into the future of remote practice and performance. If you’re serious about improving, collaborating, and staying inspired, the Teleport is absolutely worth it.
The Teleport pedal is a great learning tool, but what makes the all the difference is the very welcoming and supportive Guitargate community.
I joined end of November when the Teleport was FREE! I finally got it in January and have been playing around with it but have not got serious yet. I am retired now, played in a garage band on the East Coast for a decade (70’s) and then life took over. Now 72 and my wife introduced me to this Michael P guy online breaking down an SRV tune… I was hooked, he had me at S. Got online and signed up. I have not started Michael’s lessons yet, i had to dust off my ’81 custom and get her a fret job, bone nut, updated bridge and tail stop. Now she is back in my office/music room and i just looked at M’s lessons and although I have not started them I rate a 5 star due to the content. I have been trying to work thru my scales, chords, and am starting to get my feeling back and my fingers calloused. I plan on dedicating the remaining years i have left on learning all the guitar work I left behind and keeping dementia at bay!. I am
excited and will check in periodically.

Guitargate covers all the bases and lets you learn at your own pace. You can learn step by step, or skip around if you have a short attention span like I do. We never stop learning and someone is always coming up with new stuff, so it never gets old. This is an awesome format that will have you playing like you always dreamed of if you are willing to put in the work.
Once I get good at using the Pedal I will begin to upload some stuff to my page. But for now this has been all about learning how to loop considering I have never used any loop Pedal in my life. But I can see this has many more potential possibilities than just what you have shown. I will tell you more about what I am saying, but if you didn't keep pushing me into buying one I would not have bought it, so begin that this type of playing is different from all of the tech I used, and still use, I still see a possibility for real-time video to match a session, by the Teleport being one the same high speed service. Such as mine being on Fiber Optic which is the quickest of the ways to be on the Internet. It has the least resistance and is nearly a superconductor, for this day in age it is probably the quickest of ways...
So I will let you know when I am going to upload some of my stuff...
Thank's for talking me into it, but oh I forgot about this other thing that my friend showed me that he was using when I showed him this Pedal. He played me song's created by AI that he only had to enter the type of music, and what he wants it to be about. What he played me was unbelievable and frightening to me. He's a guitarist and banjo player, so I fought him over how this is the most scary way to make music, and they are original song's?!?! How ?Why?i if they ever allow one of these AI created song's to play on the Radio, well then it's over. Think about it you get AI to write some song, you re-record it and now it's a Original Song that you made by adding a few items you want it to be like and about. I would like to know what you think about this, because I hate it and if song's can be made using AI then what's next???
Scary stuff Mike...
Stay safe and Healthy sincerely,
Bryan
The ability to stack tracks over your progressions with a basic drum machine is invaluable when it comes to improving at improvising and practicing scales. Can’t recommend it enough

I have made a lot of progress since becoming a Member of GuitarGate. If you watch any of Michael’s YouTube content you will discover he is a good human, great husband father, music teacher and oh yeah, guitar player!
Guitargate is a down to Earth real world format with one of the best teachers on the planet. Michael is personable and approachable. It's obvious his mission to connect players and make music. Music is a joyful noise and has brought millions through difficult periods of life. Music soothes the soul and sends important messages.
The perfect tool for learning, collaborating, and inspiration
