I joined end of November when the Teleport was FREE! I finally got it in January and have been playing around with it but have not got serious yet. I am retired now, played in a garage band on the East Coast for a decade (70’s) and then life took over. Now 72 and my wife introduced me to this Michael P guy online breaking down an SRV tune… I was hooked, he had me at S. Got online and signed up. I have not started Michael’s lessons yet, i had to dust off my ’81 custom and get her a fret job, bone nut, updated bridge and tail stop. Now she is back in my office/music room and i just looked at M’s lessons and although I have not started them I rate a 5 star due to the content. I have been trying to work thru my scales, chords, and am starting to get my feeling back and my fingers calloused. I plan on dedicating the remaining years i have left on learning all the guitar work I left behind and keeping dementia at bay!. I am
excited and will check in periodically.

I have made a lot of progress since becoming a Member of GuitarGate. If you watch any of Michael’s YouTube content you will discover he is a good human, great husband father, music teacher and oh yeah, guitar player!
After 30yrs of the guitar sitting in a case, I stumbled on to Michael's youtube channel as he was reviewing I song have loved since the first listen... Over the next few months I watched lots of his content, got insired to get the guitar out. Then decided I want a better understanding of the instrument. I decided that I would subscribe to his lessons right as he offered his teleport pedal in the deal. It was then a no brainer.
I have started from scratch with the lessons and am working through level 1 at the moment.
I really like the way he delivers the information, and the structure so far, and feel like I already have more fundamentals and a better understanding of the guitar. I am keen to pick it up several times a day now...
I would highly recommend these lessons to anyone interested.
Cheers Tony R.
