I'm just received my Teleport a couple of days ago and I'm already creating and sharing tracks with others. I love all options this thing offers, four instrument inputs, four outputs, four tracks with overdubbing that allow for loops of various lengths, clicks, drums and more. The looper functionality is so great, but the sharing of tracks in the community is the best part and it is so easy. The app is awesome as well.

Making Music not just practice

Thanks to Michaels lessons and the teleport, I now get the most out of my daily practice. Starting with the simple beats and then layering on top the different grooves, I now think in terms of making music rather than just playing guitar. Hearing other ideas in my feed in inspiring and sharing ideas in the communities is really cool. My playing has really improved so much since joining and can't wait for all the new learnings in 2026.

Absolute game changer

I bought myself a guitargate subscription with the teleport as a gift to myself to help me inch closer to being able to play music with others. As a self taught guitar player who mainly does fingerstyle, I was unsure how I would take to the plug in set up and layering of songs. Its brilliant. I am at level 3 of the guitargate fundamentals but what is really different is the master classes and making real music. The sharing functionality is slightly intimidating but way easier than jumping into a live in person jam session. Its also great to hear myself play - i didnt know the pressure i was applying to strings was changing the tone so much! Thanks Michael, this is a super cool piece of kit and I really like what you are doing here

The pedal, courses, and community are all outstanding. Easiest looper I have ever used. So fun getting inspiration from other players around the world. Added bonus is it works like an ABCD box also for comparing amp tones. The courses are great. Have been a long time subscriber and have learned so much. I have an interface why do I need a Teleport?

Teleport is a fast and fun way to send chords and riffs to your friends, and quickly hear them out of your amplifier. It's small, simple, and you don’t need bother with email or crappy voice memos. It's sort of like asking: "Why do I need an iPhone? I already have a desktop computer."

Can't I just use a DAW and Google Drive?

For sure. But Teleport connects you to other musicians, not just people you know. And it makes sharing ideas as easy as sending a text message. And you can route each track to different amplifiers for a live band in the room sound.

How does this actually make me better?

Let's be honest, most of the time you pick up your guitar and just play stuff right? Or maybe you use a loop pedal? Well, Teleport combines a drum machine and a looper to make practice super fun. You tap your tempo then lay down a loop so you can practice rhythm and harmony at the same time. After two weeks you'll notice an improvement in your playing, guaranteed. After a year, you'll be a far, far, better player.

What if I don't have anyone to share songs with?

It comes with people to play with, and that's the whole point of Guitargate! Make friends and find musical companions of all styles and abilities, so you can broaden your musical vocabulary.

What happens to the music I upload to the feed?

The feed is for sharing your creations with the group. You only make songs public or share with others if you want to. You can upload songs privately or not at all.

Teleport was designed from the ground-up as an educational product, to help us practice better, practice more, and play together. That means it was really hard, really expensive, and took a long, long time. But we nailed it :)
